Services

We exist to serve the analytic needs of the donation and transplantation community. Our minds are open to the many ways we can provide innovative services to your organization, but here is a sampling of ways we believe we can help you achieve your mission:

Custom data analytics and reporting.

Our unique team of medical professionals, biostatisticians, epidemiologists, healthcare economists, and policy analysts are ready to execute custom data analytics to support your mission and goals. We take great pride in our ability to translate complex statistical analyses into easily accessible stories that your constituents can understand and act upon, provided as written reports, slide presentations, or web-based data visualizations.

Custom data collection services.

Our team of database architects and software engineers can design custom web-based data collection services for you. Our tools are flexible to meet your design needs and can be deployed to work on today’s mobile technologies. If you also need custom data analytics, our team can provide a seamless transition between data collection and analytics.

National or international organ donation and transplantation registry services and consulting.

Our team has 20 years of experience operating national registries in the United States in the fields of end-organ failure and donation and transplantation. We served the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as the coordinating center and the Cardiovascular Special Studies Center for the United States Renal Data System (USRDS) from 1999-2013, and we have served the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) as the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR) since 2010. Our investigative team has connections throughout the global donation and transplantation community. Let our extensive experience in registry operations assist your organization in creating a registry, designing data collection, providing surveillance analytics and reporting, and providing quality reporting for providers or organizations in your registry. Finally, our team can provide quality monitoring tools to give participants in your registry real-time quality monitoring tools.

Custom data visualizations.

Our team understands that unless the data are made easily accessible and presented in a compelling manner that tells a story, even the most advanced analytics will go unnoticed. Let us help you design compelling data visualizations that engage your audience. We can provide web-based, interactive visualizations as well as static visualizations to be used in printed materials.

Simulation studies.

Our investigative team of medical professionals, engineers, epidemiologists, and statisticians have extensive experience in simulation studies. From Markov modeling to discrete event simulations, we can help your organization analyze the effects of hypothesized scenarios. From policy simulations to what-if scenarios, our team is ready to provide you with data showing the effect a change in process or policy may have on the outcomes of most importance to you.

Custom decision tools and analytics.

Using data to inform a decision is a complex process. Our team has extensive experience creating decision aids for patient populations. The science of decision-making is also complex; from behavioral theory to the complex statistical theories that underlay these analyses, let us help you bring your tools to reality.

Advanced statistical analyses.

Organizations often lack the staffing structure to support a PhD-level biostatistician or epidemiologist. Our team specializes in providing advanced statistical support. With team members at the PhD and Masters level, we are poised to provide you the appropriate level of support that your organization needs to meet your goals. We will work with you to fully understand your needs and goals before we recommend a solution.

Study design consulting.

If your organization has a scientific question and needs professional assistance in designing a study to address the question, our team can help conceptualize the study, assess its feasibility and timeline, and work with you to develop the sample size estimates necessary to meet the study’s goals. Whether your study will be self-funded or you are applying for external support, our team can help provide the information necessary to successfully secure and launch the study. Additionally, our team can assist with data collection and statistical analyses, and we stand ready to partner with you in those areas as well.

Policy review and innovative policy simulations.

Our team of public health professionals stands ready to consult with you on the policy initiatives that your organization needs to support its mission and goals. We partner with your subject matter experts to give you a complete review of the policy initiative and our professional recommendations. If policy simulations are needed, our team is ready to create the simulations. Finally, our team can assist you with presentations to government agencies, lawmakers, funding agencies, payers, or any other entity you need to interface with at a policy level, to meet your organizational goals.

Financial and economic analyses.

Our team of economists and statisticians is ready to provide you with expert economic analyses. Whether your goals are simply cost tabulations for given therapies, more complex return-on-investment analyses, or Markov modeling studies, we’re ready to provide expert economic analytics. Our team has extensive experience with large payer databases such as Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and private payer databases, and we can efficiently obtain and analyze the data necessary to achieve your goals.

Manuscript preparation and medical editing.

With well over 100 peer-reviewed publications over the past 10 years, our team has extensive experience in preparing manuscripts for publication. Our medical editors support your project by editing your written materials for mechanics and usage, style, parallelism, sentence structure, readability and clarity, redundancy and wordiness, organization, and internal consistency, and ensuring that journal formatting requirements are met. An experienced medical editor is necessary to produce polished and professional written materials. Our analytic staff is poised to create tables and figures that grab the reader’s attention to raise your publication to a “cover-worthy” level.

We also look at projects on a case-by-case basis. Have a unique request? Contact us to discuss.
